Our Black Empowerment
Kaltron Electrical Engineering (Pty) Ltd qualified as a black-empowered company on 1 March 2003. Four black people from previously disadvantaged groups – two females owning 18% and two males owning 12% of the shares in the company – are actively involved in the running of the company.

Kaltron Electrical Engineering (Pty) Ltd qualifies as a Level 2 Contributor and has achieved a 110% Procurement Recognition Level.
Kaltron Electrical Engineering (Pty) Ltd celebrates 27 years of success in the electrical engineering field, servicing the mining industry primarily in South Africa and Africa. Our business centres on the manufacturing, refurbishing, repairing, and selling of medium- and low-voltage electrical equipment, all of which meets the highest quality standards.
Since 1 March 2003, Kaltron Electrical Engineering is a black-empowered company. Three black females and two black males from previously disadvantaged groups, who are actively involved in the company, own 30% of the shares in the company.
The new management force is all the more vibrant and has its ambitions primarily set on efficiency, effectiveness, and economic service delivery to clients. Ultimately, Kaltron makes a positive contribution to the economic development of the Free State as an aspiring province.
However, Kaltron’s success is not restricted to servicing a limited mining industry, since it provides in the needs of the Electrical Industry as a whole. This includes the provisioning of practical training, call-out and other relevant services. Kaltron’s workshop is situated at the Workshop Complex in Virginia, with its directors and employees at your service 24 hours a day, ready to give their very best! At the birth of our dawning future, we at Kaltron are simply concerned with one question, “How can we be of assistance to you and your business?”
